Yogic Diet And Daily Routine For Overall General Health Fitness

  1. Get up early in the morning at 5:00am
  2. Drink 1 liter of lukewarm water. Go to toilet get your bowels cleaned.
  3. Now do yoga practice for 1 hour.
  4. 15 minutes after yoga practice, take light breakfast, 4 to 5 almonds, 4 to 5 walnuts, 2 to 3 dates, a banana or a papaya or an apple or any other fruit.
  5. After approx. 4 hour of breakfast, In lunch take Roti Vegetable, Dal, Salad, Rice etc.
  6. In the evening have a light snack with a cup of coffee or tea (if you have habit).
  7. Take dinner at least 3 to 4 hours after evening breakfast. No food after dinner.
  8. Keep dinner very light. Avoid cold food kept in the fridge.
  9. After dinner, sit in Vajrasana for 5 to 10 minutes. Then walk for 10 minutes.
  10. Relax for an hour or so.
  11. Take good warm bath.
  12. Practice Balak asan (child pose), Setubandha asan (bridge pose) and adhomukh Shwanasan (downward dog pose) each 2 to 3 minutes.
  13. Drink 1/4 glass of lukewarm milk or water mixed with one teaspoon of turmeric powder and put 3 to 5 drops of ghee in the nose before sleeping.
  14. While lying on the back in a dark room, do Vashishtha Pranayama with sea breathing (Ujjayi Pranayama), Bhramari Pranayama and mental Anulom Vilom. You’ll be fast asleep in minutes.
